WICHITA FALLS, TX - The construction of the parking lot going across the street from Midwestern State University is going on just as planned and workers hope it will be open soon.
At the beginning of summer, the university tore down the McGaha building on the north side of campus, to make way for the new health sciences building.
They had to take up current parking spaces to accommodate the new building.
Which is why three university owned houses across the street from the new building had to be torn down.
The university hopes to break ground on the new health sciences building once the new parking lot is complete.
