WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Wichita Falls is getting more than $1 million in funding to be spent on low-income areas and families.
On Tuesday, the city council approved a proposed plan on how to spend the money.
It includes income to renovate the Community Center at Jalonick Park, child care subsidies for low-income families and assistance for first-time home buyers.
The money is used every year for things like childcare, Meals on Wheels, home repairs and assistance to those who need it.
