High school volleyball practice underway across Texas

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - The high school sports season had its unofficial start Tuesday, with high school volleyball practice getting underway.

Teams all across Texas hit the courts, some even getting started right at midnight, getting set for scrimmages this weekend and matches on Monday.

Here in Texoma, we'll see a now 2-day "Battle in the Dome" at Midwestern State, with matches Monday and Tuesday featuring 13 Texoma varsity teams.

One of those teams is Wichita Falls High School, entering their second year under head coach Dakota Crockett. She said that the continuity should help the team in their ultimate goal, making the playoffs.
