Thanks to stubborn cloud cover Monday, our high temperatures were in the low 80s after a high of 99 the previous day. Today will be our final chance of highs in the 80s before typical summer heat returns. Today light north winds and scattered clouds. A stray shower is possible. Highs will be in the upper 80s. We expect temperatures to climb into the upper 90s to finish the week. Triple digit heat can't be ruled out Friday. There is some agreement between forecast models that rain chances will increase this weekend. Clouds and rain may limit temperatures to the 80s Sunday.
