WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Wichita Falls Police are reminding residents about the dangers of driving through construction areas following two multi-vehicle accidents on Tuesday afternoon.

Both were three vehicle accidents along Kell West Freeway. The first collision was near Taft Boulevard and the second happened while the first was being cleaned up.

The biggest concern when accidents occur in construction areas is backed up traffic. The WFPD wants drivers to be aware that the construction begins at Taft Boulevard and ends at the Lloyd Ruby Overpass.

Traffic in that area will be impacted by construction and roadway projects for the near future. Download the Newschannel 6 App for the latest traffic alerts in our area.
