WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Mothers in Wichita Falls got to let their kids have some fun Monday afternoon while they enjoyed some coffee and gelato.
'Mom-day Mondays' at Odd Duck in downtown Wichita Falls is gaining popularity.

Monday, to celebrate National Lizard Day, River Bend Nature Center came by to entertain the children and even brought a red bearded dragon.

The children also were able to color, hear a story and have a lizard painted on their face.

"My wife, she thought of this idea because as a stay at home mom she is always looking for fun activities to do with our daughter and sometimes it's hard to find things that both parent and child enjoy. So, we wanted to create something where the moms can come in here or the dads can come in here and have some coffee while the children enjoy the different events that we have," Ted Klapf, Owner of Odd Duck said.

Mom-day Mondays are every Monday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
