JACK COUNTY, TX (KAUZ-TV) -

A Wichita Falls man was arrested on Jack County following a traffic stop along U.S. 281.
On Tuesday, Texas DPS troopers stopped a Chevrolet Tahoe on northbound U.S. 281 near Jacksboro for a traffic violation.

After the trooper discovered a baggie of marijuana in the driver's possession, the suspect jumped back into the Tahoe and fled the scene. The suspect, Jessie Tyrone Stafford, 32, threw out several bundles of methamphetamine and one bag of cocaine before stopping on FM 175.

The DPS trooper seized more than four pounds of methamphetamine, 16 grams of cocaine and 11 grams of marijuana.
Stafford was arrested and charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance and Felony Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle.

Stafford was booked into the Jack County Jail. The drugs, worth approximately $370,000, were allegedly being transported from Fort Worth to Wichita Falls.
