BURKBURNETT, TX (KAUZ) -

Get out your cowboy boots and dust off that hat, the Boomtown Rodeo in Burkburnett is this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The Queen contest takes place on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. The rodeo kicks off on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Saturday you can check out the rodeo that begins at 7:30 a.m., jackpot roping at 9:00 a.m. and a parade at 4:00 p.m. 

Tickets are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids. The event is being held at the Red River Riding Association Arena at 3307 FM 1177 in Burkburnett.

Come out and cheer on your favorite riders in a good old fashioned rodeo.
