WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Midwestern State University hosted a job fair on Wednesday. Students had the chance to interact with nearly 30 employers and 15 volunteer groups.
MSU's Career and Management Center, Assistant Director, Stephanie Sullivan said the fair helps students find a balance between managing work and school.
"I always tell the students it's always easier to come to the career fair because you can visit 28 employees in an hour and a half where as if you had to drive around town you couldn't visit with 28 employers in an hour and a half. So, it's a great opportunity to fill out an application, drop off your resume and put your face in front of that employer," Sullivan said.
The fair helps thousands of students find job and volunteer work opportunities each year. Sullivan said she expects this year's fair to be as successful as ones in the past.
