Single car crash sends man to hospital

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

One man was sent to United Regional with unknown injuries after a single-car accident on 600 Central Freeway East. Wichita Falls Police Department officers suspect speed played a factor in the accident.

The car involved in the accident was a four-door red Nissan. The hood and passenger-side of the vehicle were smashed in.

WFPD officers received the call of a vehicle accident at 11:23 a.m. and arrived on scene six minutes later.

An officer said the driver was the only person in the vehicle and he is described as a 25 to 30-year-old white male.
