Drug complaint to motel ends with arrest

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

A man is behind bars after a drug complaint was made to the WFPD around 2:00 a.m. on Monday morning. 

Officers were dispatched to the Motel 6 in the 1200 block of Central Freeway and knocked on the door of the room. 

Dustin Wachs, 26, answered the door and gave officers consent to search the room. 

During the search, officers found a plastic bag containing a white crystallized substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. 

It weighed a total of 4.56 grams. Various drug paraphernalia was also found inside the room along with $500 in cash. 

Wachs was arrested and booked into the Wichita Co. Jail for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. 

As of Tuesday afternoon, he was no longer in the Wichita Co. Jail.
