Friendly competition at Chick-Fil-A for Rivalry Week

Rivalry week is in full swing in Wichita Falls. The Rider vs. Old High football game is Friday night at 7 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.

Chick-Fil-A is getting in on the fun. Cheerleaders from both schools decorated a side of the restaurant.

To take part, make sure the cashier knows which school is being supported at the time of purchase or by writing it on the receipt and turning it in.

The school that brings in the most money will win a Chick-Fil-A dinner for their football team.

"We enjoy doing this because it gets the community really involved and it's a little friendly war inside of our stores," Restaurant Marketing Director, Kristin Barron said. "At the end of the week and it kind of fires them up even more for the end of the week with the game."

The challenge will continue until Friday at 1 p.m. The winner will be announced around 2 p.m. In the afternoon. As of Thursday morning Barron said both schools were neck and neck.
