New beginnings for WF community development

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Dana Schoening is the new Director of Community Development for the City of Wichita Falls.

Schoening will be in charge of building inspection, code enforcement, Section 8 housing, neighborhood resources, property management, and planning and zoning.

Schoening spent the last two years in Abilene as Director of Planning and Development.

Prior to his work in Abilene, Schoening spent 15 years in Duncan, Oklahoma as Director as Director of Community Development, and five years as the Department Head/Community Resource Development Agent for the University of Wisconsin.

Schoening said he is eager to hear from the citizens and do what he can to provide the best quality of life for them.
