After three consecutive days of seventy degree highs we're back to the 80s to close out the work week. Today and Thursday will be nearly identical weather wise with sunny skies and highs in the low 80s. Our weather will become more active into the weekend with a trough of low pressure sweeping across the southern plains, bringing rain chances and another cold front. Rain becomes part of the forecast beginning late Thursday night into Friday morning and will remain in the forecast until a cold front comes through late Saturday night. Temperatures won't drop significantly in the wake of the front. If anything just a reinforcing shot of pleasant fall air.
