FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY FOR SATURDAY - which means we're monitoring the risk of severe thunderstorms Saturday evening. Rain isn't out of the question today a weak disturbance in the upper levels of the atmosphere could trigger stray shower both this morning and afternoon. Severe weather is not expected today and rain shouldn't be much of a problem for area football games.
Highs today will be in the upper 70s. Saturday will be windy and warm with highs in the low 80s. Thunderstorms are expected to develop rapidly Saturday evening. Our atmosphere will be very unstable and thunderstorms will likely produce and high winds. The tornado threat appears to be low.
