WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A header goal by senior midfielder Pierre Bocquet in the 40th minute proved to be the difference for fourth-ranked Midwestern State in a Heartland Conference battle for first place Thursday evening as the Mustangs blanked rival No. 16 St. Edward's, 1-0, at Stang Park.
Bocquet's sixth strike of the season was Midwestern State's (13-0-2, 9-0-2) first shot on goal of the night with Ross Fitzpatrick's corner kick finding Bocquet in the middle of the box for the 1-0 MSU advantage at the 39:12 mark.
