City's annual Halloween in the Park

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Some Texoma kiddos did not let Saturday's storms scare them from celebrating Halloween early.

Several costumes were seen at Scotland Park Elementary for the City's Annual Halloween in the Park. The event was initially taking place at Lucy Park but

due to severe weather threats it was moved to Scotland's Park gym.

Little ones were able to participate in several carnival game activities like the basketball toss, mini golf and ring toss.

Bella Cadena participated in the basketball toss during the event and said she really enjoyed it.

"I'm Tinker Bell and I love Halloween because I like all the candy," Cadena said.

13 kiddos were given and award for having the best costume.

Kids under 10 got to participate in a pumpkin decoration contest and winners got to walk away with cool prizes for having the best pumpkin.
