WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

A Wichita Falls woman was arrested on Monday after allegedly hitting her husband with her vehicle.

Wichita Falls police were called to the 3700 block of Seymour Road around 9:30 on Monday morning. When they arrived, they discovered that the suspect, 39-year-old Tanya Gassaway and her husband had been involved in a verbal disturbance at the address. During that time, Gassaway allegedly drove a vehicle through a large grassy area and hit her husband.

Gassaway was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault as well as Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Her husband was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. There is no word on his current condition.
