FREEZE WATCH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT AND EARLY SATURDAY
Today will be the warmest day of the week, Friday will be the coldest. Today we get sunshine, strong south winds and highs in the mid 80s. Late this afternoon our winds will become strong out of the north. This change in our winds signals the arrival of the strongest cold front of the fall season so far. Overnight tonight, those strong north winds will transport cold air into Texoma. Winds chills will be in the 30s Friday morning. Strong winds continue through the day Friday when highs will be in the low and mid 50s. We'll be in the upper 40s when we kickoff area football games. A freeze watch is in effect for Saturday morning when temperatures will fall below freezing for the first time this season. While confidence is low, our next chance of rain may come on Halloween.
