WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A Wichita Falls woman is facing charges for the stabbing of another woman.
At 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Wichita Falls police officers responded to the 900 block of Humphreys Street for a stabbing.
Officers found the victim, a 25-year-old black female, one block over in the 300 block of Bailey Avenue with multiple visible open wounds on her shoulder and chest.
The victim told police she was dropping off 38-year-old Casandra Fleeks at a residence on Humphreys when a verbal argument began.
Fleeks demanded to be dropped off in front of the residence, rather than down the street.
The victim said she tried to help Fleeks out of the car due to her being highly intoxicated.
The victim said Fleeks pulled out a silver pocket knife, opened the blade and began swinging it at her, striking her on the left shoulder, in the chest and the right hand, causing open wounds.
Officers found Fleeks in the 900 block of Humphreys and arrested her.
She was charged with Aggravated Assault.
Authorities say the victim's wounds were minor.
