AAA reminds drivers to drive safely on Halloween

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

With Halloween fast approaching, AAA is reminding drivers to think safety this Tuesday.

AAA is encouraging drivers to avoid neighborhood shortcuts where trick-or-treaters are likely to be out between 4 p.m and midnight.

For those who do have to cut through a neighborhood, be on the lookout for children dressed in dark costumes and crossing the street.

Also, do not drink and drive.

    Scouts, young and old, came together Tuesday to honor an institution in the Northwest Texas Council.       W.M.     Tuesday, Wichita Falls City Council gave Downtown Wichita Falls Development the green light to paint crosswalks downtown. Hand drawn paintings made by local artists will fill the cross sections of 7th and 9th on Scott, Indiana and Ohio.
