WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - A disturbance call leads to an arrest and multiple charges for one Wichita Falls man.
On Sunday at 2:45 a.m., Wichita Falls police were called out to a disturbance in the 2400 block of Sheppard Access at Studio E.
When they arrived, officers saw several people leaving the area.
Officers found 27-year-old Tehvin Luckey standing beside a vehicle holding an AK-47 rifle.
Luckey dropped the weapon and was arrested without incident.
Police say the weapon was loaded and had a barrel length less than 16 inches and a total length less than 26 inches.
A records check confirmed that Luckey was a convicted felon.
A search at the Wichita County jail found Luckey to be in possession of numerous pills, including Codeine and Alprazolam.
Luckey was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
