Tickets for Christmas Tour of Homes go on sale this month

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Tickets for the 38th Annual Tour of Homes go on sale this month. 

The annual event put on by the Senior Junior Forum is a holiday tour of beautifully decorated homes spanning ninety decades in Wichita Falls.

The tour will be held on December 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will feature five homes that are decorated for the holiday season. 

Visitors can tour homes in any order and can self-guide. There will be volunteers inside each home to point out special features. 

Tickets are $20 per person and advanced tickets go on sale November 25. Those tickets can be purchased from the Forum, United Supermarket on Jacksboro Highway, United Market Street, and Smith's Garden Town.

Tickets will also be available for purchase at any home on the day of the event. 

This year's event is a joint effort of the Senior Junior Forum, Kemp Center for the Arts and Junior Forum. 

Proceeds will be shared by these organizations and support charitable works in the community.

    Today MSU honored Dr. Charles Bosley, Nevada Easely, Leland and Wynell Jenkins and Dr. Edwin Fuller – the first black students to attend the school. They held a bench dedication to honor the students who made history at their campus in 1954.
