LAKE ARROWHEAD, TX (KAUZ) - The boil order for residents at Lake Arrowhead has been lifted.
Around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, officials released a notice that states a bacteriological sampling in the Lake Arrowhead Water System on the east side showed the water to be free of bacteria.
Residents can now drink, cook or make ice without boiling the water first.
The Red River Authority will continue to take monthly samples to notify residents if any problems arise in the future.
The boil order went into effect early Sunday afternoon.
