Shopping small could mean winning big

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

A push to support local business is asking for shoppers to participate. 

As an incentive to encourage shoppers to shop small, the Small Business Development Center is giving away a prize package of $100 cash and gift certificates and products donated by local businesses. 

Those businesses include Birds of a Feather Vintage Market, Azure Spa and Salon, Melons and Cuties, Odd Duck Coffee, the Beauty Lounge, and others.

To participate in the drawing you need to do the following:

1) Snap a picture at a local small business
2) Check in at the business on Facebook
3) Use #ShopSmall
4) Tag @MSUSBDC

The shop small event will run until November 31. The winner will be announced on December 1 on the MSU SBDC Facebook page

The SBDC is also encouraging shoppers to shop small on Small Business Saturday on November 25. The goal is to promote shopping al local businesses that support the community in many ways.
