WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

A Wichita Falls man is behind bars charged with several sex crimes against a child.

On September 9, 2016, the Wichita Falls Police Department was notified by CPS of an investigation that involved possible child sexual molestation.

According to court documents, two victims, both 14-year-old girls at the time of the alleged abuse, said Juan Alberto Manrrique, 35, touched them inappropriately.

Manrrique is accused of sexually assaulting the victims between late May 2010 through mid-August 2010 and May 2016 through late August 2016.

Victims were interviewed by authorities and Patsy's House forensic interviewers following the report to WFPD. A warrant for Manrrique was issued on November 22.

He was arrested on December 6 and booked into the Wichita County Jail for one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, and 3 counts of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact.

Manrrique's combined bond is $200,000.
