Near record highs before the cold air sweeps in

Source KAUZ Source KAUZ

Much clearer skies as we are waking up this morning. I actually saw the stars on my way to work. Interstate 35 has seen some patchy fog this morning. In our region of Texoma we will see mostly sunny skies and breezy southwest winds 10-15 mph. These ingredients will help our high temperatures warm into the mid to upper 70s today. Bowie has a very good chance of breaking the record high of 73 degrees today. It will be a close call for Wichita Falls. We will likely stay below the record high of 84 degrees. Late this evening just after the sunsets the cold front will begin to make it's way through Oklahoma. Highs will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s tomorrow. There is a slight chance for precipitation. Depending on the temperature at the time we could see freezing rain. Keep an eye on the forecast all the time with the First Alert 6 Weather App.
