It won't feel like it today, but there is a chance over the next couple of days that Texoma could see some wintry weather. The question everyone is wondering this time of year is "Will we see a White Christmas?"
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) created a map which shows the probability of seeing a White Christmas across the country.
Obviously, here in Texoma, the chances are slim -- about 1% chance of seeing at least 1" of snow -- historically.
The map was put together using data from 1981-2010 for December 25.
Are you looking for the best chances to see some of the white stuff on Christmas Day? You'll have to go north ... WAY north. In northern Minnesota and areas along the Canadian border, you have a 97% chance of seeing snow when jolly ol' St. Nick comes to town.
