A grass fire threatens several structures near Bowie.

The fire is on the edge of FM 174 and Highway 81. It is estimated that the fire has burned 20 acres so far. 

There are several buildings near the fire, including a church and several homes. One home has caught on fire.

Officials say the blaze is currently contained in some brush. Several agencies are on the scene and the Texas Forest Service is assisting.
