Every first and third Tuesday of each month Wichita Falls city councilors consider many ordinances and resolutions.

A lot of those are awarding contracts for projects and partnerships with the city.

City staff goes through all the bids received and usually recommend the lowest bid to the council if it’s local.

If not, a lot of times they will consider the lowest local bidder to keep that money in Wichita Falls.
