Three Coyotes heading to the next level!

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) -

Two Wichita Falls High School soccer standouts, and one from the Lady Coyote softball team, all signed to play at the next level on Wednesday afternoon at the WFHS auditorium!

Alex Ramirez and Marc Ledezma both signed to play soccer for Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa! The two have been neighbors since they were five years old, and are excited to get to keep playing together.

Also, A.J. Briones signed to play softball for Hutchinson College in Kansas. A 2017 first-team All-District 5-5A performer, she's been a major part of WFHS's best season in years!

Fundraiser for LG Thursday

On Thursday, there will be a fundraiser to benefit Ramon "LG" Gonzales, who is battling leukemia for the second time.

It will be held at Taco Casa on Maplewood in Wichita Falls, where he previously worked.

20% of all proceeds at that location between 5 and 11 p.m. on April 19 will go to the Gonzales family to help with his medical bills.
