Wellness Committee to host Circle Trail Tour

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

The City of Wichita Falls Wellness Committee (STEP) will be hosting the 2018 Circle Trail Tour.

The tour will be on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event is free and open to all of the Texoma community. 

The event will highlight the 14 miles of completed, concrete trail through walking, jogging, running, or bicycling. 

"Cheer" stops staffed by community partners will be available at each mile marker on the trail.

The stops will provide drinks and snacks as well as prizes and passport stamps. The passports can be obtained from any stop, but only passports with all 14 stamps can be entered into the grand prize drawing.

The STEP committee will be at Cheer Stop #1 located in Lucy Park.

People starting at this stop will receive a stringed backpack. 

A "sag wagon" will run between stops 1,9, and 14 for people to catch a ride back to their starting point.
