WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - The WFISD Pre-K Round-up continues Friday.
The event is for children going into pre-k this fall.
The Round-Up allows the district to have all the information on your child that they need by the first day of school.
"It helps them to plan, helps the school district to plan, it's just that peace of mind knowing they have gone through the process," said Dr. Travis Armstrong, Director of Early Learning at the WFISD. "They know if they qualify for pre-k or do not and they are prepared for next school year."
Before you register your child, the district wants to remind you that you will need to bring several documents like your child's birth certificate and shot records.
The round-up will continue Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Carrigan Center located at 1609 Blonde Street.
The district will also be hosting the round-up for pre-k and Kindergarten on Monday and Tuesday, April 22 and 23.
