WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - A Wichita Falls teen is behind bars for trying to rob a local convenience store.
Just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday night, Wichita Falls police were called to the 7-Eleven in the 2500 block of Seymour Highway.
Police say 17-year-old Kobe Jedon Stafford attempted to rob the clerk with a broken bottle.
Authorities say when the clerk refused, Stafford left on foot, but was caught shortly afterward by police not far from the store.
Officials say nothing was taken and no injuries were reported.
Stafford is in the Wichita County jail facing charges for Aggravated Robbery.
