MONTAGUE COUNTY, TX (RNN Texoma) - A Nocona man, who Montague County investigators say is a person of interest in the Caleb Diehl case, is facing new charges.
Diehl disappeared three years ago and according to law enforcement, Ricky Dale Howard was the last person to see the Nocona teen.
Casey Polhemus, Montague County District Attorney, says on April 13, Howard was indicted for two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child. The other indictment is for thirty-four counts of possession of child pornography.
She says Howard's total bond is $950,000 for the new charges.
According to the Bowie News, they stem from an investigation involving the Montague County Sheriff's Office, the 97th District Attorney's Office, the Texas Rangers, and Nocona Police Department.
