More than 18 pounds of marijuana seized during traffic stop

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

Two Dallas area men are behind bars in the Wichita County Jail following a traffic stop Monday evening. 

Around 6 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Central Freeway for a speeding violation. 

During the traffic stop, the officer could smell marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. 

Following a probable cause search of the vehicle, 18.26 pounds of marijuana and 1,560 grams of THC edibles were found inside.

$2,305 in cash was also found. The driver, Christopher R. Johnson, 23, and passenger, Domonique Webster, 22, were arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana Over Five Pounds and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group Two.
