TEXAS (KAUZ) - An emergency preparedness supplies sales tax holiday is happening this weekend.
From Saturday, April 28 to Monday, April 30, eligible emergency preparation supplies can be purchased tax free.
Estimates show Texans could save more than 1.5 billion dollars in local and state taxes during this brief tax-free holiday, according to the Comptroller's office.
You can save on batteries, first aid kits, ice chests and plenty of other items.
