Genuine, true to form spring weather is what we get this week. The headlines include a lot of wind, 80 degree heat, a few chances of thunderstorms, some severe. Nearly every day this week will be windy with strong south winds. Clouds will increase somewhat this afternoon with highs near 80. Can't rule out a stray storm tonight. Despite a fair amount of cloud cover Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will be quite warm with highs in the low and mid 80s. Again isolated storms are possible but not likely Tuesday.
Looks like the best chance of rain comes Wednesday, a First Alert Day, when we could see severe evening storms. Heavy rain is expected well past midnight. A cold front will sweep rain chances from the area by Thursday night. Hard to see details in the weekend forecast but rain chances appear low.
