WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - The Wichita Falls Police Department confirmed two drive-by shootings on Tuesday are believed to be related.

The first took place around noon at the intersection of Grayfox Place and Westcliff Drive.

Officers spoke with the victim who said while they were sitting in a vehicle a green SUV pulled up with two men inside. The victims said shots were fired from that vehicle towards them.

WFPD officials said no one was injured in that shooting.

Just before 5 p.m. that afternoon, officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Pearl Avenue for a gunshots call. The home was occupied during the time of the shooting but again, no one was injured.

The possible suspect vehicle was described as a black, soft top or convertible, BMW.

Police said both shootings are possibly connected and are being investigated as deadly conduct.

Officials said three suspects in an unrelated traffic stop late Tuesday night that led to the discovery of three handguns and drugs are being investigated to see if they were involved in the two shootings.

However, they have not been charged in connection with either shooting at this time.
