WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

A woman was arrested following a call to police that came from a Wichita Falls elementary school.

In November 2017, officers were called to the campus in reference to possible physical abuse of a 9-year-old victim.

A school counselor informed officers, a student had been sent to the nurse's office after the child's teacher noticed bruising on the child's back.

Once at the nurse's office, it was discovered the victim also had bruising inside both of his ears. When asked what happened, the victim stated Nichole Blevins, 32, pulled him by his ears and hit him with a belt.

During a forensic interview at Patsy's House, the victim said he tried to give Blevins a hug and she thought that he pushed her.

After the victim stated he did not push her, he said Blevins pushed him back and then grabbed and lifted him by both his ears, according to the arrest affidavit.

The victim also stated Blevins struck him in his buttocks and lower back with a belt.

According to arrest documents, when police spoke with Blevins she was unable to explain the bruising. A warrant for her arrest was issued on Friday, April 27.
