Most Wanted Sex Offender has ties to Wichita Falls

AUSTIN, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

The Texas Department of Public Safety has added a man with Texoma ties to the Top 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender list.

Billy Don Urango, 26, is wanted for parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender. A cash reward of $5,000 is being offered for information leading to his capture.

Urango has been wanted since June 2017 and has ties to Wichita Falls, Watauga, Bedford, and Ardmore, Oklahoma.

He has a criminal history that includes a 2010 conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child stemming from an incident in Grayson County involving an 11-year old boy. 

He is 6-foot tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has tattoos on his neck, chest, upper right arm, right forearm, right wrist, upper left arm and left leg.
