Parks and Recreation free concert series begins May 8

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

The 2018 Parks and Recreation free concert series kicks off May 8.

The first concert will feature Black River and will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at South Weeks Park. Black River is a power trio from the Wichita Falls area, that plays the best of classic and southern rock.

The series will feature musicians from a variety of musical genres.

The 50 Plus Zone will also be serving free hot-dogs 

The other May concert will be on May 22. It will feature the family band Ritmo De Hoyos. The band plays all styles of Cumbia music, as well as Tejano music.
