Bike Company prepares for HHH training

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) - The Hotter in Hell Hundred is about three months away.

Endurance House is hosting a training ride for Hotter in Hell called Couch to 50 miles.

The staff is encouraging everyone to come out no matter what kind of training you have previously had.

"This program is to encourage maybe people that haven't done the HHH before or maybe want to boost their miles up to 50," said Endurance House manager, Ryan Raeke.

In 2017, Endurance House started with 75 people training with them for HHH.

This some changes are being made.

In 2017, Endurance House trained riders for the full 100-mile ride.

This year, the training miles will be cut in half.

One of the reasons Raeke said is because the 50-mile ride goes right through Sheppard Air Force Base.

"One of the coolest things about doing the ride is going through the base," said Raeke.  "The ten mile and 100 miles are the only two that don't go through the base."

Raeke is looking for all riders to come out Monday.

"You do not have to have a race bike," said "You can come with any type of bike you want," said Raeke.  "We are looking for kids of all ages.   Five-year-old to all the way up to 100-year-old."

There will be three training sessions every week that will all start in downtown Wichita Falls.

Training rides will be every Monday and Wednesday night and Saturday morning.

Monday: 6 p.m. at Hook and Ladder Co. Coffee, 616 7th St.
Wednesday: 6 p.m. at Wichita Falls Brewery, 701 Indiana Ave.
Saturday: 9 a.m. at Odd Duck Coffee Roastery, 717 7th St.
