NOCONA, TX(RNN Texoma) - Wheels were spinning for the first time Friday at the Indian Valley Raceway in Nocona.

"I love it the people here are so friendly. I'm from the south and we've got southern hospitality but believe me, here everyone has opened their homes, they're great loving people," said Peter Vacari, Owner of Vacari Auctions.
"We've worked probably the last 45 days non stop to get this thing open for tonight," said Nocona Gas Junkies Vice President Brady Page. "With the car auction and all the other events going on this weekend, we thought it would be the best weekend to open up."
The Gas Junkies Car Show registration will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and the Vicari Auction starts at 10 a.m.
