WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

Day two of the Fallstown Chili, Brews, and BBQ cook-off kicked off Saturday.

Chili, brisket, chicken, and even margaritas made their way to the judges as about 20 teams hoped their cuisine reigned supreme.

One of the judges for the chili competition, News Channel 6 Ashley Fitzwater, said it was tough to choose just one because they were all so good. She even wanted to take some to go!

She wasn't the only foodie looking to dive into some delicious eats.

Doug and Janelle Shaw heard about the event and wanted to come see what it was all about.

"Well we were just looking for something to do today and it seemed like a nice day we saw this on the internet it looked like a good experience to come out and try some food," Doug said.

This event was not all about good eats. It was also for a good cause. Proceeds raised went to the North Texas Area United Way.

The organization works to bring a number of programs to our area like 211 Texas and volunteer income tax assistance.
