WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

A Wichita Falls man was arrested on Sunday night following a call to police about gunshots.

Around 5:50 p.m. officers responded to a home in the 1500 block of Harding in reference to the call.

When they arrived at the scene, a group of people were coming out of the home. All were detained.

According to police, several shell casings were found in the backyard of the home.

At that time, Arturo Quinones, 21, said he was shooting off two handguns in the backyard, according to police.

Quinones went on to say he thought the home was outside of city limits. A records check revealed Quinones has a warrant out for his arrest as well.

He was taken into custody and booked without incident. Quinones has been charged with discharge firearm in certain municipalities.
