WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

A Wichita Falls man is facing charges for injury to a child and assault.

According to an arrest warrant, on April 30, 2018, detectives were called to Scotland Park Elementary because a 9-year-old girl had disclosed Armando Emmanuel Elizondo, 32, had choked her.

During a forensic interview, the victim said Elizondo was angry with her and her siblings and he began to yell at them.

The victim said Elizondo then grabbed her by the neck and picked her up off the floor and dropped her, twice.

The victim's siblings were also interviewed and corroborated the child's claim of events.

One of the siblings also described Elizondo pushing them into a wooden door and grabbing their arm and forcing the child to sit in a chair.

All three victims said Elizondo has trouble with anger issues.

Detectives met with Elizondo, however, he declined to speak about the alleged incidents, according to an arrest warrant.

Two warrants were issued for Elizondo's arrest on May 3, 2018. As of Tuesday afternoon, Elizondo was not in the Wichita Co. Jail.
