Home sales increase in Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

The Texas Association of Realtors released the Texas Quarterly Housing Report for the first quarter of 2018 on Wednesday.

It showed home sales for Wichita Falls have increased.

The report showed home sales increased 4.6 percent to 390 single-family home sales compared to the same quarter last year.

Also shown in the report was Texas home sales and prices experienced strong growth during the first quarter of 2018.

Texas home sales increased 2.2 percent year-over-year to 70,292 home sales, while housing inventory dropped to 3.3 months, a 0.2 months increase from 2017-Q1, according to the report.
