Public invited to attend RTIP meetings

WICHITA FALLS, Tx (RNN Texoma) -

The public is invited to attend and give input at several different Rural Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) meetings this month.

The purpose of the meetings is to get input on the district's project development plan and schedule for transportation projects in fiscal years 2019 through 2022.

TXDOT will hold identical meetings at three locations during the month of May.

The first meeting will be at the TxDOT District Office Training Center Room located at 1601 Southwest Parkway in Wichita Falls. The meeting will be on Tuesday, May 15 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The next meeting will be at the Graham Chamber of Commerce Board Room in the American Legion Building located at 608 Elm Street in Graham. The meeting will be on Thursday, May 17 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The final meeting will be held at the Gainesville TxDOT Area Office located at 2615 W. US 82. It will be on Tuesday, May 22 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
