Voters will cast ballots in Montague Co. for two local runoff elections

MONTAGUE COUNTY, TX (RNN Texoma) -

Early voting for the primary runoff election will take place the week of May 14-18.

In the Republican Party runoff in Montague County, Lavonda Langford and Brandi Shipman are running for County Treasurer and Karen Reynolds (I) and Kevin Benton are running for Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace. 

The Democratic Party runoff will be for the Texas Governor's race. Lupe Valdez and Andrew White are vying to be the Democratic nominee.

There will be two locations for voters to cast their ballots.

The Nocona Community Room located at 807 W. U.S. Highway 82 or the City of Bowie Community Room at 307 N. Mason will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for early voting.

Election day is May 22 and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
